Mounting and Repair of Georg Fischer Plastic Piping (+GF+) aboard Ships

MARKO Ltd has obtained the company’s Certificate of Compliance with requirements of Russian Maritime Register of Shipping as an entity providing installation and repairs of plastic pipelines manufactured by Georg Fisher Piping Systems Ltd (Switzerland) according to the documents approved by RMRS. The plastic piping and fittings +GF+ comply with the requirements of IMO Resolution А.753(18).Plastic pipelines and fittings +GF+ secure a top level of corrosion resistance and as a result operational durability of all systems, and they are lighter than the steel pipelines.
A modern ship features a complex technological system comprising various types of equipment, gears and constructions to provide for the work of which the piping sets are destined.
The technicians of MARKO Ltd can perform repairs, assembly and installing of piping systems and manifolds in accordance with the design, by welding techniques employing branded +GF+ equipment. The welded joints ensure waterproofness and impermeability under the whole piping system’s pressure. The system’s operational duration numbers to 25 years and over.
The ship’s pipeline systems of:
- compressed air;
- ballast waters;
- water purification;
- water tank ventilation;
- ship’s hot and cold water;
- domestic and sewer water discharge;
- air cooling and conditioning;
- gas scrubber.
