Immersion Suits

Immersion suits are designed for rescue of passengers and crews of vessels and floating facilities.
 

An immersion suit offers better thermal protection and prevents a person from overcooling at the temperature from 0 C to +20 C during 6 hours. It is used without any life-jacket. The immersion suit have a positive buoyancy. Immersion suit has weight of 5.3 kg, dressed on without assistance. A fabric - rubberized kapron-based, the stuff - synthetic winterizer, heat-insulated materials – foam rubber. The immersion suit has a sufficient degree of freedom at moving that is of great importance at evacuation.
